Gotta get ’em all
It is with pleasure that we now can officially welcome ‘Pandabee Studios’ and ‘Sunlight Games’ to our platform — we are looking forward to a successful collaboration!
‘Pandabee Studios’ is an indie-development studio from Leipzig, Germany. The young and creative team already has a handful of projects to record, such as ‘Portal Golf’, ‘Ganita’, or their latest gem ‘1945’ (working title), which is still in production.
‘1945’ is an emotional, level-based 2.5D survival-adventure with a focus on narrative and emotion. The player experiences a thrilling story while having to make meaningful & difficult choices in an ongoing fight for survival.
The game takes place after 1945 in eastern Prussia, where families have to flee in fear of the Soviet army. Maike and her family are fleeing towards German territory in hope of a better life and experience a challenging adventure. The game covers a variety of mechanics and decisions in the fight for survival. Resources like health and one’s will to live, but also food and other items, play a major role in keeping the family alive and add a challenging realism.
The game’s rather unique 2.5D art-style plays with the interaction between light, darkness, and the emotions that come with it. Self-composed piano music underlines the dramatic part of an emotional journey.
We are keeping our fingers crossed for ‘Pandabee Studios’ new project and look forward to playing it as soon as possible! Below you will find two other interesting titles from the same team: https://youtu.be/qbYx1T0dobw & https://youtu.be/wOckGAjZuCM
Now let’s move on to ‘Sunlight Games’, a game development studio from Cologne, Germany. “Sunlight Games” revolves around the industry veteran Marco Sowa-Israel. Founded in 2008, ‘Sunlight Games GmbH’ was formed in May 2013 and is also headquartered in Cologne. Marco has been involved in the development of over seventy games for PC, Mac, Wii™, Nintendo DS™, Android and iOS, among others. Two games were awarded the Giga Maus in 2010: ‘Bibi Blocksberg — The Great Witches’ Broom Race’ and ‘The Magic Labyrinth’.
His portfolio includes games such as „Idle Game Tycoon“, “Two Hundred Ways”, and “Gold Rush 2”.
‘Two Hundred Ways’, the sequel of the successful brain teaser ‘One Hundred Ways’, gives puzzle fans twice as many mental challenges to overcome. The mission of each of its 200 levels sounds easy: guide one or more balls to the exit. But levels with up to three different layers and numerous ball traps don’t make this task a walk in the park. Luckily, players can use dozens of tools to help them reach their goal — but using more tools means that their level score will go down.
This simulation ‘Idle Game Tycoon’ is set in the exciting and creative industry of game developers. Build a successful company, develop your own development studio from a garage company to a highly profitable business, create great games, publish them and get rich. ‘Idle Game Tycoon’ is not a clicker game where you have to keep typing for ever to be successful.
‘Two Hundred Ways’, ‘Gold Rush! Classic’ & ‘Gold Rush! Anniversary’ from ‘Sunlight Games’ are now available in our Striked Store. ‘Portal Golf’ by Team ‘Pandabee Studios’ will also find its way onto our platform very soon.
We are extremely grateful that our platform is now constantly enriched with interesting and exciting titles by great developers. We are also looking forward to introducing more studios and game titles in the coming days and weeks and are confident about the future.
Have a wonderful weekend and maybe play some great game — soon on Striked!
